Important Notice For Patients – Coronavirus

To continue to protect our service, staff and patients the doors to the surgery remain closed. If you need medical assistance not related to Coronavirus please call the surgery on 01462 683637 to book a telephone triage slot with a GP. Please be aware that telephone appointments will usually be in the morning and if the GP asks you to come in the face to face appointment will usually be in the afternoon.

If you need an appointment with a nurse or healthcare assistant please phone the surgery and speak to a receptionist.

Please do not queue at the front door to book an appointment you will be turned away and asked to phone.

If you have not already done so, we strongly recommend you chose a nominated pharmacy this will allow us to send an electronic version of your prescription straight to your nominated pharmacy meaning you do not have to visit us to collect your prescription. Please be aware should we need to close our service completely you may not be able to obtain your prescription at all unless you nominate a pharmacy.

Please note if asked to visit the surgery the staff coming to the door will be wearing personal protective equipment. Please when attending arrive wearing a face covering. We ask that you arrive at the time your appointment is due to start, we do not have a functioning waiting room or toilet facilities and you may be asked to wait outside until your appointment start time. This is to enable social distancing and the cleaning of clinical rooms between patients. It is also due to this and other measures bought in by the Government that we are currently working at a reduced appointment capacity of around 25%. We have introduced eConsult to assist with the capacity issue. This is for non-urgent medical queries and can be accessed from the front page of our website. Once you have submitted the form it will be reviewed by a GP and we will contact you with any follow up action. Our reception team are now under more pressure than ever with demand and are doing their best to assist all patients with their queries and requests, please be mindful of this when ringing the practice.

We would like to thank you all for your continued patience and support during this difficult and unprecedented time.
